マット・ミラー (Matt Miller)
オレゴン州、ポートランド生まれ。マットは幼少期をオレゴン州で、成人してからはカリフォルニア州西部で過ごした後、家族の歴史を辿るために日本に移り住んだ。
現在は幼少期のトラウマが及ぼす長期的な影響について、世間の認知を高める活動をしている。『ぼくのこわれないコンパス』は15年に渡り自身の父の過去と、日本中で家族と離れて暮らす子供たちの生活について調べた末に生まれた作品である。子どもたちがトラウマを癒して生き生きと暮らし、未来に踏み出すための解決策を見つけることを目指している。

Unfortunately, as with many delays and misfortunes during our post-production due to COVID-19 our sound design was impacted. We never want to blame anyone and we never want to be angry for something not working out. At the end of the day, all we can control is what we are able to do with what we have. Our sound design, for now, remains unfinished but someday when we can gather some additional funds we will seek out a new sound designer.
COLOR
Our color grade was also impacted by COVID-19. We had secured a couple of different colorists but as delays occurred, everyone’s financial needs changed, and re-edits were made during the delays, our colorists weren’t able to do what they had originally hoped to do and availability also became a factor. Covid-19 impacted all artists greatly in a variety of ways. We will find a colorist at some point and have that individual and or team create the vision we want to see up on the screen.
